“My husband and I hired Get Fit to help me get ready for my wedding. They met our high expectations and the fact that Michelle came to our house and held us accountable on those days that I knew I wouldn’t have had the motivation to a gym on my own. Michelle is understanding but tough. That’s why she gets the best out of her clients.”

“I consider it a blessing that we found Get Fit. The personal level of service surpasses all other trainers I have worked with in the past. Being able to train in my own personal space means success is possible because the truth is we will never go to the gym as regularly or push ourselves as hard as they do. They have great advice with journaling food which helps with the intense accountability that is required. I have achieved my goals steadily and I feel confident in them to get me to my next set of goals. Now the true miracle is with my husband. He had never worked out regularly or paid such attention to his caloric intake. The mindfulness that his trainer inspired, helped him reach a level of fitness that is quire noticeable. Others notice him and this raises his confidence. He was fearful that he had resigned himself to being overweight. Get fit gave him a path for achieving his fitness goals.”

“I started training with Doug and his team of professionals about 10 years ago during my off-season when I was training as a Major League Baseball player. My personal trainer was knowledgeable and was able to adapt to my needs as an athlete and help me reach my goals. With my demanding schedule having the option to have a high-level trainer who was able to come to me was a game changer. I’d highly recommend this company if you’re serious about achieving your fitness goals.”

“I hired Doug and Michelle to help my 82-year-old father with his balance and fitness. My father is a very active man and start going to the gym three times per week in his late 70s. However, he learned one set of exercises and was just repeating those same exercises without appropriate guidance. As such, despite his attempts to remain fit he continued to have balance problems. He fell a couple of times at home, and I worried about him being injured by falling.
I decided it was time to do something. I started looking for a personal trainer to work with him. Before starting I looked into several personal trainers and explained that I needed someone with experience with older clients and wanted a focus on balance and proprioception. Doug and Michelle had the experience I was looking for and a clear plan for how they were going to help my dad.
After only two months working with Doug, my dad is stronger and has a better balance. No falls recently. They tailor the workouts to my dad and work with him in the convenience of his own home. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable even for my parents who are on a fixed income.
I’m a physician and I know the dangers of elderly falling. Older people who are perfectly functional have a fall at home, break a hip and from there it is a tragic downward spiral because it is so hard for the elderly to rehab such a severe injury. Many never get to return home and end up in a nursing facility, others have recurrent falls or iatrogenic illnesses, very few return to their old quality of life. I don’t want that for my dad and I am so thankful that working with Doug has improved my dad’s balance and potentially added several functional, quality years to his life.”
